Kubica vs Di Resta vs Sirotkin

On one hand, the 2017 session ended with Lewis Hamilton winning the championship. On the other side, another race started as Felipe Massa announces his retirement from F1. Race is for, 9-time champion Williams F1 team's seat  between Robert Kubica, Paul di Resta and Sergey Sirotkin.

Robert Kubica, the very first Polish racer to drive in Formula1. During five years with the Sauber team, he won his first and final race of his career as Canadian Grand Prix. For being delighted, just before the start of 2011 session, he participated in a car rally event, i.e., on February 6, 2011, he suffered a serious injury at his forearm. After hard work done by the doctors, his hand was fine but not completely.

After the operation, in an interview, Kubica said that he has come to a great extent from the injury and can feel his fingers moving and will return soon. But with the belief that he had dreamed of return, that remained a dream. Because it was almost impossible to emerge from such a injury within 2 months.

Paul Di Resta, after being dropped by Force India in 2014, it was knocking the British driver down somewhere. Eventually in 2016 Williams F1 team offered him their test-driver seat. During the test session, he got the same number of opportunities as Kubica and Sirotkin had.

The UK can be considered as a stronghold of the Formula1  racers in a way. Because Britain alone gave 17 champion racers to Formula One. Despite this, the British racer never deposited his leg in Formula One.

Sergey Sirotkin, only a few Russian racers have been able to make their place in Formula One. Aside joining the Sauber team in 2013 as a development driver, he continued to participate in different racing competitions year after year. Although he did not get the success he wanted, even after that he has become an obstacle in Kubica's way of getting the Williams seat.

Now the question is who will win Williams's seat?
Paul Di Resta, has already been out of the race, because he has failed completely redeem the opportunities he received during the test session. This loss of Di Resta is being considered as a big one. Because his racing career started in 2003, it is a different matter that he got place in Formula One, a while later. Even after a lot of experience, wasting big opportunities in  such a way shows the symptoms of inexperience.

Robert Kubica, after failing in other rally competitions, now the time came when, Kubica wants to open the doors of Formula One for him once again. In between mid-2016 season he gave signs of his return. Before Sirotkin jumping into the middle, Kubica was seen in a particularly good condition. Paul Di Resta, who has already been out of the race, it seems an easy choice for the team to make.
Thinking that the election process has become easy, it seems quite wrong. On one hand, the experienced Kubica, who had shown good pace during the test session, his good lap times strengthened his claim. Sirotkin also got a chance on the other side, but Kubica's performance was the best during the entire test session.

What so happened that the name of Sirotkin, which was not heard by anyone in the beginning, now the same name is being counted on the top?  Robert Kubica, who has succeeded in redeeming the only chance he got. At the same time he has got more experience than the other two competitors. Despite being favorable to all these beneficial conditions, the probability of  Kubica's dream of racing on the track is very small.
At the same time, Sirotkin, who does not have any race experience in Formula One. There is speculation with his name that he will bring with him a sponsorship deal of fifteen million euros. Even Russian President Vladimir Putin along with Russian investors in a statement said that they are ready to pay any amount to release Sirotkin on the track in 2018. In response, the Kubica's team also claimed to try every possible effort to get him on the track.

With all this speculation, it seems that the team only has hunger for money. Such decisions can throw any team down. In the wake of the pressure, the Williams F1 team has put the election process aside till January. The choice of 33 year old Kubica and 22 year old Sirotkin, depends on the team itself. Whichever election will be, that will be clear to the team's strategy.

However, another Russian racer other than these three was in the race for the seat, Daniil Kvyat. In between the year 2017, the Toro Rosso team unexpectedly showed him the way out of their team. Due to this, the Williams team has not given any specific statements on the claim of Daniil Kvyat, while not giving him much attention.
